On July 31, the manufacturer of Wegmans Sorbet recalled a limited number of 16 oz. Wegmans brand Sorbets because they may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy to milk run the risk of a serious or possible life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the affected products listed below.
The products were distributed throughout Wegmans Food Markets located in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and Maryland. · The sorbets are packaged in 16 oz. paperboard containers and sold in the supermarkets’ ice cream section. All four sorbet flavors: Lemon, Raspberry, Green Apple, and Pink Grapefruit, are affected by this recall. The affected products contain the following "BEST USED BY" date codes on the bottom of the container:

A review of records discovered that product containing milk was packaged in cartons that were not labeled for the presence of milk.
