Grand Supercenter, Inc. of Lyndhurst, NJ issued a recall of some units of Frozen Salted Croaker


Please note the following 3 recalls.  Please check your inventory and immediately dispose of all recalled items.  Although the Vermont Foodbank did not distribute these items there is always the possibility that your program may have received them through local donations, purchases or food drives.   
  • On April 1, Grand Supercenter, Inc. of Lyndhurst, NJ issued a recall of some units of Frozen Salted Croaker because they have the potential to be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, a bacterium, which can cause life-threatening illness or death.
  • HC Fresh Frozen Salted Croaker was distributed through H Mart stores including H Mart and Super H Mart in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Texas area.
  • The label of the recalled products read:
