Foodbank Farming Network

Started in 2006 at the Two River's Farm in Montpelier, the Foodbank Farm has grown over the years to include many farms throughout the region.

Two Rivers contracts with a group of farmers who grow food as part of the Foodbank Farming Network. That food is distributed throughout the state to low income Vermonters through the Foodbank's Network Partners.

The Foodbank Farming Network provides monthly distribution of locally grown, fresh produce, nutrition education workshops, and fresh food tastings to participating Network Partners.  Efforts are currently in process to expand this model into three additional geographic areas in the next three years.
